About Me

Every Journey Starts With A Single Step.

This is my 2nd about me page, written June 2013, the old one was about 2 years old, and a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then!

I am a 3x-year-old, still overweight (but only just), aircraft engineer in the Royal Air Force, and father to 4 beautiful children. I have always had a weight problem and smoked from the age of 10 till December 2011.

If you want to know more about where I started from, see the old about me post, but I am more about looking towards the fitter leaner, more muscular and healthier future than worrying about how I got in the state I was in in the first place! This is not a diet blog, it is a blog about a total lifestyle and way of life change.

Remember, I am NOT an doctor, a personal trainer, a nutritionist, or an expert in any field linked to health and well being, I can only blog about my own experiences, and pass on information I find helpful on my journey.  It is up to you to interpret the information how you see fit, and if you have any doubts about your personal choices, then seek out an expert!

Like I say in the first paragraph, I am still over weight, but only just, I am however becoming a much better shape, and my fitness is improving week on week, I am sure I will not be overweight for much longer!  Weather I ever have the will power to cut down on the food enough to lower my bodyfat % so I get a 6 pack remains to be seen, but 1 step at a time!

That is the main thing I have realised on my journey, and one bit of advice I would like you to take, “Every journey starts with just a single step.” After that, you just keep taking another little step after little step, then one day you look back over your shoulder and realise just how far you have come!

So welcome to my blog, and my journey, I don’t update on here as often as I should, but I always get around to it eventually!

See you in the gym!
