It’s Hard to Eat Enough Good Stuff!

I am getting quite frustrated, everything I read says I should aim for a minimum of 1500 calories a day, any less and my body will go into “starvation” mode.  And these 1500 calories are before I engage in any extra exercise! Now I have eaten quite well today, and quite a lot of food, yet I am still only at 1,118 calories, minus the 238 calories from my run, and I still need about 600 calories for the day! What do I do, have a pie to stop going into starvation mode?

This is going to take a lot more thought, it is my snacks I need to work on I think, a couple more snacks in the morning to make it up, apricots, or nuts I guess, stuff with a few more calories than a carrot!

Also, my training is now getting going, don’t tell everyone but I am actually starting to enjoy it now! Okay I still havent dared run outside, but one day! I am running most days, and next week am planning on spinning or doing circuits on top, so this will obviously gratefully increase the calories I am using!

If anyone has any advice on snacking while dieting, or opinions on the daily calorie requirement levels, please let me know, as I could do with the help!
